Who is responsible

Your 3D files

FixMyMesh processes your assets locally. Your .blend files, textures, exported files and test results stay on your computer. They are not uploaded to us, and we have no copy of them.

If you choose to send us a support package to report a problem, you decide what it contains and when to send it. By default it holds the report and the logs, not your .blend file; your Windows user name is replaced by a placeholder, and it never contains your full license key. We use it only to investigate your report.

What we do collect

  • Purchase data: email address, billing details and VAT id if you provide one, the product bought, the amount, and the invoice. Legal basis: performance of the contract and our accounting obligations.
  • License data: your license key and plan, and for each activated machine a non reversible machine identifier, the operating system and, at most, the application version. Never your 3D files. Legal basis: performance of the contract, and our legitimate interest in enforcing the license.
  • Free trial: the same non reversible machine identifier, to count the 3 free tests. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in limiting the trial to one per machine.
  • Waitlist: your email address, if you asked to be told when the Windows build ships. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Server logs: technical logs generated by our host, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use advertising trackers, and the site sets no third party analytics cookie.

Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number. Stripe acts as an independent controller for the payment data it processes, under its own privacy policy.

Who else sees your data

  • Stripe, for payment and invoicing data.
  • Brevo, to send you transactional emails such as your license key.
  • Hostinger, which hosts the site and its database in the European Union.

How long we keep it

  • Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by French law.
  • License and activation records: for as long as the license is valid.
  • Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe, and at most 24 months without interaction.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@clearcuteditions.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Note that we cannot erase the accounting records we are legally required to keep, and that erasing a license record ends the license.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising or analytics cookie. Your browser may store a small amount of local data to remember the campaign that brought you here, so a purchase can be attributed correctly. You can clear it at any time from your browser, and nothing on the site breaks if you do.
